Spiral Pipe Gauge

We manufacture spiral pipe in 18, 20, 22, & 24 gauge galvanized metal. Stronger than other pipe – Our pipe is up to 20% stronger than smooth pipe systems of the same gauge, due to the added spiral reinforcement. No painting required, will last years outdoors.

Spiral Pipe Diameter

Available in 3-inch to 36-inch diameter in five foot lengths. It is considerably stronger than longitudinal pipe of the equivalent gauge. All 22 gauge pipe measures 1/16″ less than the noted diameter on the inside (I.D.). Example 6″ diameter is 5-15/16″ I.D.

Spiral pipe and fittings along with our flexible hoses will complete your piping system.  Spiral pipe is commonly used in dust collection as well as other applications such as industrial ventilation, spray booth stacking, welding booths, paper trim, pharmaceutical clean rooms, etc.

Spiral Pipe is easily shipped. Five foot lengths up to 16″ diameter can be shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground for fast delivery.

How do you make pipe connections? We use the small-end (male-end) and large-end (female-end) method of connecting the components. This is similar to the way plumbing fittings are connected. Fittings and small-end couplings are male-end to slip into pipe and flexible hose. A large-end coupling (COU2) is used to make fitting-to-fitting connections. A small-end coupling is used to connect sections of pipe (COUP). Secure the connection with pop-rivets and silicone caulking. Wipe the silicone around the outside of the con­nec­tion. By making a chemical bond, the silicone makes the connection airtight. Later if you wish to change your system, using a razor blade you can easily cut the silicone.  We also have other options for connecting the components. There are Easy Connect Sleeves (ECS) and Inside/Outside Couplings (IO). For larger systems we recommend our Angle Rings (RING and RING-U). Also for an easy way of cou­pling flexhose you can use our Quick Flexhose Disconnects (QFD)
