Dear Mr. Corum,

Thank you so much for the donation of a flex hose and fittings for The Fresh Air Fund’s vacuum system. We truly appreciate this very thoughtful and generous gift, especially during this difficult time for our city and our nation. The Fresh Air Fund remains committed to providing free summer vacations and year-round programs to New York City’s disadvantaged children.

As we begin our 125th anniversary year, our programs have touched the lives of more than 1.7 million of these youngsters. As life for them grows ever more difficult, the need for Fresh Air experiences becomes more important than ever.

Away from the hot city streets and in the homes of volunteer host families from Virginia to Maine, or at one of five Fresh Air camps in Upstate New York, youngsters have the chance to explore the wonders of the outdoors, learn new skills, and make new friends. These experiences provide wonderful memories and promise to have a positive impact on their lives.

On behalf of the children we serve, thank you again for your wonderful gift. I offer you my best wishes for the holiday season.
